¶¶زُ¶جتسئµ Adolescent Medicine Program

Adolescents face a variety of health challenges that encompass their physical growth, nutrition, body image, emotional health, and social well-being. This stage of life is marked by a quest for independence, peer pressure, and a tendency to take risks, which often leads to underutilization of health services. Unfortunately, many of the leading causes of death among adolescents stem from both unintentional and intentional injuries, highlighting the need for specialized care.

Our Adolescent Medicine Program is dedicated to delivering exceptional clinical services to young patients while also training healthcare professionals, including medical students and pediatric residents. We emphasize research on the behavioral aspects of adolescence and aim to be a valuable resource for parents and the community by promoting awareness and understanding of youth development through advocacy and knowledge sharing.

We recognize that our effectiveness relies on strong partnerships with healthcare providers at the ¶¶زُ¶جتسئµ, Children's Wisconsin, and the broader community, including schools and families, all of whom play a crucial role in supporting the health and success of our youth.
